Acuity have been delivering Sage 200 and its predecessors for the last 25 years and the core of the business has been built around the delivery of on-premise Sage systems to the SMB market.  We are strategically moving the Sage 200 business division into its own self-managing Business Unit.  The remainder of the business, being around Sage X3 ERP implementations and cloud focus around Sage Intacct, are both at different stages of maturity and complexity.  We require a driven individual to take hold of a very experienced team and re-energise the business unit to drive growth in this area. 

The individual will be running all aspects of the Business Unit and be reporting into the CEO and will be answerable to the leadership team.  It is a budget owning role and performance will represent a proportion of the remuneration package.  The Sales, Service and recurring contracts will reside with the individual and although we are open to suggestions, we envisage the structure being a Sales lead, services lead and CX/Support lead reporting directly into them. 

Initially they will be tasked with building the following plans for SLT Budget approval, including any new hires that may be necessary: 

  • - New business Sales Plan 
  • - CX, Retention Plan 
  • - Marketing Plan 
  • - Internal Systems Review 

The role then progresses to leading, managing and holding the team accountable for delivery of the plan for growth and most importantly customer and employee experience excellence.  The wider Company will allow access to resources and skills beyond the reach of a typical Sage 200 Business Partnership and allow you to hit the ground running. 

The team is currently 9 people, and we expect this in year one to grow to around 12, so it is expected that the role will also include a ‘Player Manager’ element.  The ideal candidate will have strong skills in one or more disciplines of sales/marketing, customer support or consultancy.
